Our History...

INSPRO Insurance goes back to the mid 1930's.  The strength of our firm comes from the merging of many strong insurance organizations and their professional staff members.  The following is a list of insurance agencies which we have evolved.

INSPRO has experienced double digit growth each year since 1970, a period during which many agencies, according to industry trends, either downsized or succumbed to acquisition. INSPRO’s growth is a result of agency acquisition and an aggressive marketing approach and assures our clients a source of consistency and excellent service into the future.

Our agency began in Fremont, Nebraska as an affiliate of Don Peterson & Associates Real Estate Company and shared the name as Don Peterson and Associates Insurance. During the 1980’s, our company became independent and grew, adding offices in Wahoo, West Point, Lincoln and Omaha. In 1990 we changed our name to INSPRO Insurance to further establish our identity and independent ownership. INSPRO is 100% employee owned and operated.

Our expansion continued in January 2000, when we merged with the Becher Curry Company of Columbus, NE.  In May 2001, we acquired the Mundhenke Agency in Wahoo, NE.  In May 2002, our agency operations expanded to include the assets of the Charter West Agency in West Point, NE. 

Our growth enables our staff to serve our clients from a position of strength in that we are able to support favorable relationships with a large number of insurance carriers. The proximity of our offices allows us to maintain a consistent and high level of service that our clients both expect and deserve.
